1814: Can you describe your first meeting with Andy Warhol?

AP: I went to the Factory with Michael Auder and Viva. It was on Union Square. I was looking for the famous silver ceilings and walls, but there was none. It was more like an office, with a busy well dressed clerk moving around. Andy was quiet and dignified, very much like the Pope in Rome. I can't remember if I took any pictures then, probably not. Somehow I was aware of my shyness meeting Andy's shyness. I had the cheapest camera in the world and Andy was so curious and fascinated by it, asking questions about it, like he had never seen a camera before. I am sure he hadn't this one, because nobody in America had such a cheap camera.
